Nvidia is probably going to look for EU antitrust endorsement for its $54 billion takeover of British chip designer Arm ahead of schedule one month from now, with regulators expected to launch a full-scale investigation after a preliminary audit, individuals acquainted with the matter said.
The world’s greatest producer of graphics and AI chips announced the Arm deal last year, starting a quick reaction in the semiconductor business.
