EU to invest 1 billion euros in vaccine production centers in Africa

The European Union will contribute 1 billion euros to build vaccine production centers in Africa, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday.

The move is intended to make Africa adequate develop capacity in vaccine production.
