BlackRock considers investing billions of dollars in SpaceX’s IPO, the biggest-ever stock market flotation.

BlackRock has talked about investing between $5 billion and $10 billion in SpaceX’s IPO next month.

At a valuation of over $1.75 trillion, SpaceX hopes to raise roughly $75 billion, which may make it the largest stock market IPO ever.

BlackRock would use its $536 billion in actively managed assets to invest in SpaceX.

The asset manager’s final investment offer may vary depending on how SpaceX prices its initial public offering (IPO) and other pre-deal circumstances.

SpaceX has chosen the Nasdaq as the trading venue for its big market debut and plans to list its shares as early as June 12.
