Ukraine war: Russian banks lost over $25 billion – Central Bank of Russia

According to a central bank official, 1.5 trillion roubles ($25.5 billion) have been lost by Russia’s banks as a result of the fighting in Ukraine.

The section of the regulator that oversees the biggest banks in the nation, led by Maxim Lyubomudrov, stated that these losses were “acceptable” levels and that the government had preparations in place to assist Russia’s lenders during the crisis.
