UK and Nigeria reach an agreement to combat illegal migration and foreign criminals.

Britain announced on Thursday that it and Nigeria had reached a new agreement under which they would collaborate to combat illegal migration and expedite the deportation of foreign criminals.

The government said that the arrangement with Nigeria would also further “shared bilateral economic interests,” despite criticism for its recently announced partnership with Rwanda to transport asylum seekers to the East African nation.
