The family of Virginia Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sexual assault, praised King Charles for depriving his brother of his royal titles and forcing him out of his royal residence, claiming that her incredible bravery “brought down a prince.”
Andrew has always refuted every accusation made by Virginia Giuffre, who committed herself in April 2025.
“Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” stated Virginia Giuffre’s brother Skye Roberts and sister-in-law Amanda in a statement released by the BBC.
According to the family, Virginia never gave up fighting for justice for herself and the many other victims of Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein.
“Our sister, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who was sexually abused by Andrew when she was a child, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and countless other survivors like her.”
She proclaims victory today. The family stated, “We, along with her surviving sisters, will not give up until the same accountability is applied to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.”
Andrew’s decline: The Royal ruling
Due to his connections to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre’s accusations of sexual misbehavior, King Charles stripped his younger brother Andrew of all royal titles, honors, and the royal residence.
He will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as King Charles revoked his title as “prince.”
“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles, and honors of Prince Andrew,” Buckingham Palace stated in a statement.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will be Prince Andrew’s new name. He currently has legal protection to remain at Royal Lodge under his lease. He has now received official notice to vacate the lease and relocate to another private residence, it stated.
“These censures are deemed necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the palace added. Their Majesties would like to express that the victims and survivors of all forms of abuse have had and will continue to have their deepest sympathies and thoughts.
