Tesla Inc., a manufacturer of electric vehicles, intends to erect a factory in Shanghai to produce power-storage products for global distribution, state media said on Sunday.
According to state media and the Xinhua News Agency, plans call for the annual manufacturing of 10,000 Megapack units. They claimed the business revealed it at a signing event in Shanghai, the city where Tesla has auto manufacturing.
According to information, the factory is scheduled to break ground in the third quarter of this year and begin producing in the second quarter of 2024.
