Telecom Italia and its subsidiary Noovle have partnered with Oracle to offer cloud services in Italy, according to a joint statement released on Friday by the three firms.
Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will give services to businesses and government agencies to help them execute a so-called “multi-cloud strategy,” which will allow them to transfer to a different provider in the event of a service failure.
Oracle was also chosen by TIM to assist with the migration of the company’s mission-critical data management workloads to the public cloud, according to the company.
