CEO Satya Nadella announced on Wednesday that Microsoft will offer AI-skilling opportunities to 2 million people in India by 2025. He also stressed the importance of collaboration between the US and India on AI standards and laws.
The corporation released a statement stating that the skilling would enable inclusive socio-economic advancement by teaching people in rural, tier-2, and tier-3 cities.
Laptops 1000“I hope consensus emerges and that is what helps, in some sense, (with) the diffusion of this technology,” Nadella stated about international efforts to develop guidelines and control artificial intelligence during a conference in Mumbai.
According to Nadella, he believed that “equal distribution of economic growth” will result from the spread of AI worldwide.
