FIFA signs multi-million dollar Budweiser deal to separate sponsor for the US 2025 Club World Cup.

The Budweiser and Michelob Ultra brands will be promoted at the Club World Cup in the United States next year thanks to a contract FIFA signed with AB InBev, its longtime sponsor, on Monday.

It was not disclosed how much the most recent Budweiser deal, which includes player-of-the-match honors, would cost.

The global brewing giant joins Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense as an existing World Cup sponsor completing separate deals for the revamped 32-team club event that was previously included in comprehensive FIFA partnerships spanning all events.

FIFA’s most enduring supporters Adidas and Coca-Cola have not disclosed any independent financial support for the Club World Cup and have FIFA contracts that go through the 2030 World Cup.

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, has guaranteed teams competing in the Club World Cup—which does not yet have a television agreement—hundreds of millions of dollars in prize money.

From June 15 to July 13, the Club World Cup will take place in 12 venues across 11 American cities. Many NFL stadiums will be put to the test for soccer before Canada and Mexico co-host the men’s 2026 World Cup.

Twelve European clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester City, recent Champions League winners, are among the 32-team roster.
