On Tuesday, the China Development Bank said that it has recently loaned 245 million euros ($254.76 million) to the Nigerian Kano-Kaduna railway project, supplying funding to ensure the project’s seamless advancement.
The Kano-Kaduna railway is a standard-gauge railway that is 203 kilometers long.
When finished, it would offer locals a convenient, safe, and effective means of transportation by establishing a direct rail link between Kano, a significant northern city in Nigeria, and Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Additionally, this railway will encourage the growth of associated industries.
The project’s construction and operation will create many job possibilities in Nigeria.

With financial assistance from the CDB, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is building this project.
As of right now, the project is going well.
According to the CDB, it will collaborate closely with the Nigerian side in the upcoming phase to guarantee the ongoing loan payment and efficiently oversee subsequent activities.
