In extended trading on Friday, shares of Blackstone and Airbnb rose after S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that the two businesses would enter the S&P 500 index.
Following the S&P, Airbnb increased 5% and Blackstone gained 4.1%. Newell Brands Inc., and Lincoln National Corp., will be replaced, according to Dow Jones Indices, before trading begins on September 18.Newell Brands held steady as Lincoln National fell by 0.7%.
