Following Donald Trump’s resounding victory in the U.S. presidential election earlier in the week, Bitcoin hit a record $80,000 earlier in the session and was trading close to that level on Sunday.
The largest and most well-known cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin, is up 65.4% from its low of $38,505 on January 23 of this year.
