Dutch government to stop using Facebook, unless data security is assured.

As long as it’s unclear what happens to the personal information of people who use official Facebook pages, the Dutch privacy watchdog AP said on Friday that it was advising that government organizations should stop using Facebook.

Alexandra van Huffelen, junior minister for digitalization, stated that Facebook’s parent firm Meta needed to clarify how it could ease the government’s worries about data security before the summer.
