Chinese spy balloon: U.S. to ban Chinese nationals from buying properties in America. China kicks.

The Chinese foreign ministry claimed on Friday that the United States consideration of a ban on Chinese nationals purchasing property in the United States violates both the principles of a market economy and the norms governing international trade.

At a routine press conference, spokeswoman Mao Ning stated that “politicizing economic, trade, and investment issues and generalizing the idea of national security contradict the laws of the market economy and international trade regulations.”

Mao was responding to a query regarding Texas and Florida’s consideration of prohibiting Chinese citizens living in the United States from purchasing real estate.

As tensions between the United States and China over national security issues increase, Texas, Florida, Arkansas, and other states are reportedly considering legislation that would prohibit Chinese citizens from purchasing real estate.

“I want to emphasize how mutually beneficial the economic and commercial cooperation between China and the US is. Chinese businesses have made significant investments in America over the years, helping to advance domestic employment and American economic growth “Mao stated.

The action is being taken as the US calls for tougher retaliation after a Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down after breaching US territory.
