According to a Suez Canal official quoted by state media on Friday, Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone will start providing new services to ships in the first quarter of 2023, including catering and fueling.
The official was quoted as saying that the additional services will be available at Port Said and Suez in the northern and southern areas of the canal, respectively, and that ships transiting Sokhna Port would have access to up to 20 to 25 services, including medical evacuation and marine supplies.
